Terms & Conditions

Ordering: All Themed Buffet orders should be placed a minimum of 7 business days in advance to allow for adequate preparation. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Confirmation of Orders: A 50% deposit is required to secure booking. A confirmation email or message will be sent upon receiving your order. Please review the details carefully and notify us promptly of any discrepancies. Deposit is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

Payment Terms: Full payment is required before the scheduled delivery date. Payments can be made through our secure online system or other agreed-upon methods.

Amendment/Cancellation Policy: Amendments and cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time may incur a fee. Legumes is not responsible for deficiencies caused by changes from client.

Guaranteed Guest Count: The client must submit the guaranteed number of guests/pax at least 72 hours prior to the event.

Quality Assurance: We take pride in delivering high-quality, fresh meals. If you encounter any issues with your order, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will do our best to address and resolve the matter.

Service: Duration for services is 3 hours; any extension must be communicated to management in advance, and additional charges will apply.

Menu Customization: While our themed menus are carefully curated, we are happy to accommodate specific dietary restrictions or allergies. Please inform us in advance to make the necessary adjustments.

Themed Buffet Setup: Our service includes a full setup with stainless steel buffet chafing dishes, providing an elegant and functional display of the themed dishes.

Delivery and Setup: Delivery within Klang Valley is included based on the minimum order quantity. Our team will handle the setup at the specified location. Please ensure that the location is accessible during the scheduled setup time. If pre-setup a day before is required, additional transportation will be chargeable.

Handling Charges: Handling charges for event setup, teardown, and overall coordination varies from RM 300 - RM 500 per event.

High Rise Moving Charges: Additional charges for events located in high-rise buildings, considering the logistical challenges. Charges will vary from RM 100 - 300 (for floors beyond ground level).

Minimum Order Requirement: Our Themed Buffet service operates on a minimum order requirement. Refer to our menu details for the specific minimum order quantity applicable to your chosen theme. Orders that do not meet the minimum requirement may be subject to additional fees.

Utensils and Equipment: Utensils, serving equipment, and other necessary items for the themed buffet are provided by Legumes Catering. Additional equipment or special requests may be subject to extra charges.

Special Equipment Charges: Additional charges for specialized equipment, if required (e.g., specialized kitchen appliances, high-end tableware).

Menu Availability: Menu items are subject to seasonal availability. In the event that a specific ingredient is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute it with a suitable alternative of equal or higher value.

Force Majeure: Legumes shall not be liable to the Client for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or cancellation of the event that is due to circumstances beyond the control of Legumes including but not limited to fire, acts of terrorism, floods, acts of God, inclement weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, civil unrest, interference by civil or military authorities or acts of war, and accidents.

Staffing: Packages exclude manpowers. Please refer to “Staffing Guideline Chart” below for staff count advise. Staff cost is mandatory at RM 150 per person. Buffet helper is required for monitoring and cleaning. Normal service hour is 3 hours. Additional service hour is chargeable at RM60 per hour. Charges for catering staff, chefs, servers, and other necessary personnel varies MYR 30 - MYR 50 per staff per hour. Overtime charges will apply.
